Google, Buying Motorola's Mobile Phone Manufacturers at 12.5 billion USD

Wow really hot news this time, which shows Google is a genius and quickly take action in expanding and maintaining the mobile market and future gadgets to buy Motorola's Mobility which is a division of Motorola cell phones and smartphones.

So far, Google only makes and distributes Android OS only but does it have a problem where a lot of fragmentation occurs because each vendor uses a truly varied specifications as well as adding the UI layer or modification of the standard Android OS.

Finally, Google just announced that they bought shares of Motorola for $ 40 USD for a total of 12.5 billion USD, or 100 trillion rupiah for a portion of 63% shares. This transaction has been approved by the board of directors of both companies.

Indeed, Motorola has been showing enough commitment to make the Android platform that Google became interested in buying it. And Motorola is one of the founding members of the Open Handset Alliance makes the Android an open and comprehensive platform for mobile devices.
